We were really impressed with Southern Stars Caravan Park. The Staff were helpful and friendly, Nothing was too much trouble. The Park was well maintained and we were so happy to have our dog able to have his own space in the fenced area. What a great concept that is. Lovely caravan park. Quiet, peaceful, large, grassed sites with added bonus of a fenced enclosed area for my dog. The camp kitchen and toilet/shower facilities were spotlessly clean at all times. Absolutely loved the clean, green park with shady trees and clean facilities. The guys welcoming us and helping us park were so friendly. What a beautifully maintained park! The gated dog friendly sites, are such a great idea. My kids loved the playground and undercover play area. So much for them to do. Our pooch had a designated dog friendly area to run around. The staff are super friendly, and we loved seeing the resident dog, Doug, cruise leisurely around the park. This is our second time at Southern Stars and are planning our return again soon. From the beginning all the staff are so welcoming, friendly and helpful. The park is very well maintained and carefully thought out, the sites are of generous size, dog friendly and the fact that there are fenced sites for dogs is fantastic. These fenced sites have meant we have been able to bring our dog down and not worry about him at all as we know he is safe and secure. The park is super dog friendly which is fantastic. The big enclosed off leash area allows for a run and play as well. We thoroughly have enjoyed our time away and cannot wait to be back. March 2025

It was our first time staying at Southern Stars & we booked a fenced site so we could take our 12-month-old Spoodle. The staff were so friendly and helpful and guided hubby into the fenced area (saved us a few hours of not talking to each other - LOL). Doug also greets you at the front office and if you are lucky, will take you to your campsite. He will also check in on you during your stay & say hello (for those not in the know, he is the resident dog).
Within 20 minutes of arriving, I marched back to the front office......not to complain, but to rebook again for next year and for longer!
Our caravan fitted perfectly, the site was lovely and green, and our set-up was amazing. The park is lush! There is an off-leash area for the dogs, a bike track for the kids (and adults young at heart) and a great nature playground with a flying fox. I love they have bathrooms (which are huge and clean) and there are lots of them so never had to wait. We didn't use the camp kitchen, but it was huge and clean. I want to tell you Southern Stars is terrible to keep it a secret, but I can't lie - IT IS AMAZING and looking forward to our next trip with all our friends we have recommended it to!! March 2025.
I would recommend to anyone to stay here! My wife and I have stayed at Southern Stars many times now, both in winter and in summer, and every time we stay, we love it more! All amenities are well maintained, and is close to everything. Most of all the staff are down to earth people that have welcomed us and our friends every time. First time staying at this beautiful dog friendly park and we will definitely be back. Plenty of space for our large van and truck, green grass, super clean kitchen and amenities. We were met by the lovely owners who showed us to our site. Luscious green grass everywhere. Our friends rented a cabin close to our pitch. There was a young singer guitarist and food truck one night with wine tasting 2 afternoons over the long weekend. The shower blocks were immaculate. I attended the Bully's Campout hot rod event for the third year in a row and it was great to see how the park improves every year. The trees are growing, the lawns are beautifully groomed and the camp kitchen/ rec area is perfect for the job. Toilet blocks are always clean and well maintained. From the friendly reception to the personalised parking assistant, the huge grassed bays between trees where we had room to move and the wonderful rec room/community kitchen, Souther Stars Holiday Park was fabulous. Our grandchildren made good use of the obstacle course, and the family bathrooms were a fantastic idea. The staff are all so cheerful and helpful, we were sad to leave. We had a lovely stay here. Check in was quick and easy, and we were shown to our block by a lovely man and the resident dog Doug. The amenity block was incredibly clean, and the site was well maintained. We are glad that we found this little campsite and wished we had stayed longer! We would recommend to anyone and visit again! Southern Stars was a wonderful spot for camping. When we arrived, we were greeted by the staff, escorted to our site and they even gave the directions for us to reverse onto our site! The facilities were well kept, and the common area was a nice space overlooking the playground and field. On the Friday night there was a wine tasting with a local winery, and on the Saturday night there was a burger truck on site. On the Monday morning there was a pastry truck, and the onsite coffee spot was open and made the best iced coffees. We will definitely return when we are next in Dunsborough. January 2025

We spent 7 nights at SSHP on a big rig site with our two fur kids. An amazing park, great vibe, facilities are excellent. Our daughter and 3 of her friends stayed on your site for leavers. I would like to express our thanks to each and every one of your team for looking after them and making sure they had a great time and were safe. I believe they were checked onto the buses for the zone and met off the bus and escorted to the site. Our daughter said everything was well organised, the food was great, and all the staff were very friendly. She also mentioned that they once missed the bus, and you arranged another bus to come and pick them up. To any parents reading this and getting a little anxious for next year (as I was this year) ! I highly recommend Southern Stars. It was also nearest to the zone, so not far to travel at the end of the night. November 2024.
Fantastic place to camp. We love this camp because our dogs can freely walk around the enclosure. They love camping as much as we do. We love how well the camp grounds are cared for. A terrific caravan park with beautiful grassed sites. We had a fenced site so our dog could roam freely. All sites are spacious and well tended to. Ablutions are ensuite style and are kept clean and tidy. Staff were very friendly and we were 'escorted' to our fenced site. This was the first time we have visited Southern Stars. What a beautiful place. Central to all the areas around the Busselton/Margaret River area and easily accessible. The sites are flat with amazing lawn. The facilities are very clean and modern. Southern Stars staff are friendly and helpful with taking you to your site and helping you position your van. What an absolutely amazing caravan park... loads of space and immaculate... plenty of room between caravan bays to allow easy access and plenty of room to stretch out comfortably with awnings etc... the lawns are manicured and extremely well kept... the amenities were also extremely clean, generous and well maintained... How cool is this place? From the concierge experience on arrival (where one of the guys drives in front of us to our site), to the soft, lush green lawns, to the first rate amenities - Southern Stars have thought of everything. Cheerful, helpful staff 100% of the time and every possible need catered for - what is there not to love? This caravan park is one of the best we have ever stayed in and we have stayed in many over our years of camping. From the friendliness of the owners and staff to the spotless amenities and immaculate camp kitchen, to the beautifully kept green lawns, everything was perfect and made for a very enjoyable stay. Even the fire pit was topped up regularly throughout the evening by the owner and staff who would also stop for a chat. The caravan park is presented very well, grass sites and well maintained. Facilities very clean and plenty of them. Dog friendly and great exercise area for the dog. There are several bays with boundary fencing which are great for the pets and families with small children, great idea. Southern Stars Holiday Park is in a good location and not far from Busselton and Dunsborough. This is our third time here. We will be going back and staying there again. November 2024.
This park is wonderful. The facilities for dogs are second to none with an individual fenced bay for our caravan and a great off lead exercise area where our two dogs could get all the exercise they needed. The ablution area was very clean and each shower/toilet room is extremely large. It is only a 10km drive into Vasse if any supplies are required at Coles supermarket. October 2024.

This is one of the best run, and maintained parks we have had the pleasure to stay at. We chose to select a dog fenced in pitch, so the dog can have his own free space where he is safe and secure without being tethered. The pitches are a good size and the grass well maintained. The dog fenced pitches are well thought out with space between them. The shower/toilet block is great. All individual rooms with a shower, wash hand basin and WC. Modern and spotless. The camp kitchen is very spacious and has everything you need and more. There's a secure dog walk area, an oval and a bmx track for kids, so the whole family and dog are catered for. The staff are so friendly and helpful, you are escorted to your pitch and guided in, great service. Location is easy for Dunsborough and Margaret River. Can't think of anything they could add to improve it as it's perfect! October 2024.

We had a wonderful weekend with the Snowy River WA group at Southern Stars Holiday Park in Dunsborough, WA. The staff were exceptional, providing friendly, helpful, and accommodating service throughout our stay. The park itself is beautiful, with well-maintained, grassy sites and excellent amenities, including a fantastic camp kitchen. The evenings around the campfire added a perfect touch to our experience. We were there with the Essentials Caravan get together. Park was great cleanest we have ever been to, great facilities very thing you could want. Staff are simply amazing from the moment we arrived to the day we left. We will be making our trip there an annual event. October 2024.
This place is super amazing. It is the best holiday park I have visited period. The team of staff were amazing! The amenities are all top notch. Clean and easy to use, even dog friendly for your furbabies. Kids bike trail to race around. 10 minute drive to Coles/Woolworths for all your daily needs. Would 100% recommend. October 2024

Green grass, perfect amenities, clean, well organised and friendly staff. A bakery van came for breakfast most days. Only a stone's throw from lovely Dunsborough, beaches, lighthouse, national parks, surfing, trail riding. We witnessed one of the staff members assisting a novice camper setting up their campsite too. Highly recommended!!! October 2024.
We booked a group trip with our families. Awesome location, we loved the space. Plenty of room for footy, cricket and soccer. We loved the food trucks, morning coffee and drinks by the fire pit. The kids loved making use of the table tennis and air hockey. The playground was a hit and the kids kept us busy with the flying fox. Great amenities and friendly staff. So reasonable in price to meet a range of budgets. Highly recommend and will definitely stay again. October 2024.
The Park was exceptional, a family owned and run park, only 5 years old , new facilities, tucked away from traffic noise. Very peaceful, lots of grassed areas and play equipment for the kids. Lots of open grassed areas and flying fox, common kitchen with free bbqs. Toilet and showers were perfect. Hot water, cleaned after every use. At night we shared stories with other Nomads, and the park owner joined us for a wine around the firepit. Will definitely be returning to this park. Only 5 minutes from town. If you appreciate the efforts of a proud park owner, who provides a very well maintained holiday park, Southern Stars is your first choice in Dunsborough. Great value for money. Also noted new 1bed chalets being built for those without vans. September 2024.
Your park is absolutely amazing in every detail! This was our fourth stay and we love it more each time! The grass is so beautifully kept and the sites are spacious. The facilities for dogs and humans are second to none and the fire pit, food vans, live music and general feel of the park is just wonderful! Superb site with fantastic facilities. We stayed for the long weekend on our maiden voyage. We had 2 dogs in a fenced site. From the minute we arrived the staff were super friendly and helpful. The place is spotless and has great facilities for the camper, families, dog lover. Would not hesitate to go back or recommend. A great first experience. The bar is set high for every other site! We love staying at Southern Stars as it is ideally located between Busselton, Margaret River and Dunsborough. There is so much to do in that region and our dog loves staying there as well. She can be off-lead as we stay in one of the fenced compounds which means we all can relax. The park facilities are also great. July 2024

We booked our July school holidays camping trip at last minute where we missed out on the more well known camping spots but fortunately so.
Reading about Southern Stars it looked nice and green with good spots and good things for the kids to do so we booked our camping trip.
Upon arrival we saw the spans of greenery, nice views but there was something else - it wasn’t just clean it was well organised and evidence of consideration for their guests. When we stopped at the front gate we were welcomed and escorted to and helped guided into our spot making arrival a breeze. We will definitely be back. July 2024

Great place,very friendly helpful staff. Ablutions the best we have ever seen, spotless and spacious. Our two dogs loved it also chasing the ball in the fenced dog exercise area. We will return again, couldn’t fault the place. June 2024.
We had a lovely stay with our two dogs. Very peaceful surroundings, clean amenities and fantastic doggie exercise paddock. The opportunity to stay on a fenced site made it so much easier when you enjoy taking a break with your fur family. Have recommended to others although would like to keep this place a secret, we will be visiting again in the future. June 2024.

What a fantastic park, so clean, friendly and nothing is out of place. When you enter the girl on reception Shannon and her husband are amazing, nothing is too much trouble . The campsite bathrooms are massive easily 3m x3m each one and there are plenty. Showers are new and hot and the girls cleaned them at least twice a day when we were there, spotless. Dogs loved our time here because not only did we have a gated site which meant they didn't have to be tied up but there is a huge off leash park with a bench where we sat with a glass of wine as the sun went down, whilst the dogs played. Doug the dog (owners dog) was as friendly as the staff. This is the best campsite in WA hands-down . We have booked another four dates in advance. Thanks guys this was amazing ! June 2024.

What a beautiful caravan park! Immaculately kept campsites and very spacious. We stayed at a fenced site and found it to be more relaxing, not just for us but for our dog! What a great idea having this option! The bathrooms/toilets were exceptionally clean. The care takers met us as we pulled in and were very friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back! This is our second stay this year and we will definitely be back. The weather wasn’t the best but the kids made the most of it riding through the muddy puddles and pump track living the dream. All the staff are so friendly and accommodating and checked up to make sure we were okay after the crazy storm that went through one night. Cannot recommend this place enough!! Such a great park - best we have stayed at yet. Fenced sites are a game changer - makes it so much easier than having to put up the portable fence. Big green sites. Shower/toilet cubicles are clean and such a great idea. And good location between Dunsborough and Busselton - and 3km to a dog beach. Couldn’t hope for more. June 2024
First time visiting and thoroughly enjoyed the amount of space you are allocated for your caravan. Lovely grass areas where your dog can just lay around on the grass. Will book the fenced area for our dog next time, even though he was quite happy being tied up with plenty of room. Highly recommended with the Lentedal vineyard close by and Anniebrook Farm Cafe and will definitely visit again. May 2024

Our first time staying at a holiday park, we normally go bush. It was absolutely beautiful! We stayed in a fenced site for the dogs which was great! The dogs loved it! Was great having grass for them instead of gravel. All amenities were amazing, very clean and all the staff were very friendly. Will come back for sure! May 2024

From the moment we arrived at reception to be greeted by Natalie, then by Dougie (the dog) and Todd who directed us into our super spacious and shady bay (a real marriage saver there), we had an exceptional stay where the park staff were always available to arrange things or answer any questions we had. The green grass, trees and other plants gives a soft ambience to the park, whilst the permanent games, playground and camp kitchen were brilliant. There are plenty of toilets and the ablution block was always clean and stocked. We were there with a large caravan club which was one of the best musters we have ever had. This is a fabulous caravan park! Staff are super friendly and prompt to address any query. The grounds are immaculate. The dog bays are great for those bringing their four legged friends (and there is a large, fenced exercise area). Camp kitchen is large and always clean. The projector set up is excellent for either presentations or watching sporting events. Children are well catered for with play equipment (flying fox, climbing frames, table tennis etc) and even a bike track. The park is well located to many of the local tourist attractions. This was our second visit and both have been very pleasant experiences. April 2024
The park is great lovely green lawns and big sites, especially the dog friendly sites where your furry friends can be outside the van with you without having to be tied up, as they are contained in your own area. The Park also has a dog exercise area that is fenced off from the camp sites. There is a huge camp kitchen and games area, which was well used on the day of the Football Derby. The amenities were lovely and clean inside and out and were cleaned a few times a day when we were there. One great feature of the park is the staff help to park your Caravan onsite, this took a lot of stress away from us knowing that an experienced person was helping the driver reverse in quickly and easily. Would definitely recommend this Caravan Park for families as there is a great playground for the children well away from the road and a bike area for them to ride their bikes without annoying fellow campers. All the staff at the park were very friendly and helpful throughout our stay, we will definitely be back again soon. April 2024
Our stay was absolutely fabulous. The ambience, facilities for people and doggies, the friendliness of all the staff, the attention to detail with every aspect of the park's presentation was first class. We felt relaxed and cared for and will be returning again and again. We can't speak more highly of our experience. Oh our doggy Cassie loved her special caravan area and the free range area for running, playing and meeting new doggies. 10/10 in our view. April 2024
I have stayed in many caravan parks in the state, but this park rates as one of the best. The staff were helpful and the park was run very efficiently in all aspects. The camp kitchen was large and well laid out, as were the sites. Although it is a bit away from the coast, everything is within a close radius from the park. We will definitely be staying again. Very well maintained caravan park with lots of room to move. Grassed areas and lovely well spaced trees. Staff are professional in all matters and extremely helpful. We had a very large group attend for a state gathering (100 people) and all flowed extremely smoothly. Variety of options from powered sites and some with enclosures for pets and/or children. We loved our stay at southern stars....The private ablutions & fully grassed sites are great but the feeling of space between camp sites is a great feature as well. The animal pen idea is good & our grandkids liked the open areas when they last came...They have mentioned that they would like to return.

This is a lovely park to stay in - efficient & friendly check in, showed us to our site & guided us in as they do for all guests. Lovely large, grassy site - such a change from the dusty sandy sites in other parks. Large, clean facilities, food trucks visiting, French bakery van, wine tasting- what's not to love. And all just 10 mins from the quaint township of Dunsborough with its stunning beaches. Highly recommended. April 2024
The park is spotlessly clean with great caravan, camping and ablution facilities. There are fenced off sites so pets can be let off the leads around the caravans. It is well situated, far enough out of town to be secluded and peaceful, but only a 10 minute drive into Dunsborough. Management and staff are friendly, helpful and go the extra mile to ensure all holidaymakers have a great time. Cannot recommend it enough and we will definitely be back. April 2024

We were very lucky to get a dog fenced powered site at the last minute due to a cancellation. We were intrigued to see how the site was setup and we were more than impressed. We very easily reversed the van into the area, closed the gate and our pup was free to wander at her leisure. The ablutions were clean, practical and well lit. The toilet and the shower are in a cubicle so very practical. The camp kitchen area was fabulous with either/and live music, wine tasting, chase the ace and friendly chat each night. Everyone was mindful of each other and it made for a wonderful long weekend. We will definitely be back! Thanks guys! April 2024
