Facilities

We understand the importance of well-appointed and clean amenities for an enjoyable family holiday. After touring the incredible south west region and taking in the highlights of surrounding Dunsborough, Margaret River and Busselton, you will feel right at home back at camp as you cook, play and relax at Southern Stars Holiday Park.

Camp Kitchen

The camp kitchen and recreation area is a generous 319sqm.

It has an abundance of seating, washing up facilities, BBQs and indoor games such as table tennis, air hockey, giant Jenga, giant Draughts.

It is a great area to meet up with fellow campers for ‘happy hour’ or to get together for a big breakfast cook up around the BBQs.

Ablutions

The ablution facilities are all self contained bathroom suites.  They are spacious, well maintained, clean and family friendly.  Close the bathroom door behind you and you have the privacy and feel of your own bathroom.  Great for parents taking the kids in for showers.

No need to squeeze into a tiny cubicle trying to keep everything high and dry.  You have plenty of space (approx. 3m x 3m), hanging hooks and a seat for added comfort.   Everyone will love the bathrooms!

Playground

Our playground is designed around a rural, natural construction. It will keep the kids busy for hours. From pushing a friend on the cable swing, to chasing their sibling over the cargo net. They will definitely be exhausted by the end of the day and will be wanting to get back out there as soon as the sun comes up!

Bike Pump Track

Our bike track is located in a small forest of trees at the back of the park. It has proven to be extremely popular among all ages. It has jumps and turns that the kids will enjoy for hours on end.

We stayed in this amazing caravan park on a fenced site for 6 days. Owners were extremely accomodating and put our friends on a site backing onto ours so their little dog could join ours in the enclosure. Ablutions are “A” grade, and plenty of them. The camp kitchen is immaculate. We do not have small children, but the play area goes beyond swings and slides. There is a flying fox and other challenges for the kids. Sites are all grassed and large. School holidays started and the park began filling but there was not a sense of being crowded. Chase the ace on Friday night, wine tasting and a burger van. Burgers were tops, with a good serving of chips to go with them. Douggie the park dog is a treat to watch; he welcomes newcomers and directs them to their site. There is even a small bike track over at the rear of the park for the kids. Wish we could give you more than 5 stars this park deserves a lot more.  April 2025
