Southern Stars Holiday Park owners Todd and Natalie have lived on the property since 2005 and set out to create a family holiday park that was a little different to the norm. As seasoned campers, they know what makes for a great camping trip and the little details campers look for, and have utilised this first-hand knowledge, experience and passion to deliver an exceptional holiday park. With clean, spacious amenities and a beautiful, quiet country setting, Todd and Natalie really have built something special.
Our extra large sites offer plenty of room for your family holiday needs, and the hugely popular fenced dog-friendly campsites are a welcome relief for your pup after sitting so patiently in the car! Your pup will love being able to roam around your campsite off-lead as you enjoy your home-away-from-home. We love dogs and welcome your pooch in non-fenced campsites, however we ask he stays on a lead.
The kids will burn plenty of energy at the large nature play area, featuring a cable swing, flying fox and cargo net. We have also built a mountain bike track at the back of the holiday park with jumps and turns to keep the kids happy and active for hours.
For a little friendly competition, pop down to the well-appointed camp kitchen for a game of table tennis, air hockey, giant Jenga and giant draughts.
Whether you are camping with a simple pop-up or touring in your big rig, we have a range of sites to suit. Our powered camping sites are spacious enough for a camper trailer or van, plus a tent for sleeping out under the stars. We also offer large unpowered sites for trailers, tents or vans. All sites have access to water and use of the holiday park’s amenities.
Southern Stars Holiday Park Dunsborough provides private self-contained bathroom suites for campers. Each suite is family-friendly and spacious, making them perfect for parents with young children who need a little help. Once the door is closed, you have the privacy and comfort of your own bathroom in a well-maintained, clean 3m x 3m space. We have also added hanging hooks and a seat to keep your towel, clothes and toiletries clean and dry!
Honestly this place was totally unexpected, on arrival I was surprised by the friendly smile and assistance from the lady at reception and didn't expect anything more, well how wrong was I. We were then introduced to Rob, one of the fabulous staff members who guided us to our site and helped line us up, he explained where everything was and left us to our own devices. During our 3 night stay we found the staff busy doing their duties from mowing lawn emptying bins and so on, these guys didn't stop. The grounds are amazing, a sensational recreation room and patio that was fully equipped, from immaculately clean BBQs to air hockey tables, big screen TVs, you name it they had it. The ablution blocks were spotless; didn't matter what time of day or night I found them to be spotlessly clean and spacious. If I had a complaint, it would be because I can't find anything to complain about, our stay was awesome, and would without doubt stay there again and more than likely make it a regular holiday destination. As always a fantastic few nights away at Southern Stars.. the most amazing park with large grassed sites meticulous grounds and facilities and fabulous staff to make it the perfect package!! booked again for same catch up next year. November 2024.
Yet another great stay at this immaculate caravan park, hosts and staff are always friendly and helpful, we even shared breaky with Dougy on Sat morning. Our friends were also lucky enough to be the first guests to stay in the new cabins. Once again thanks guys and we’ll see you all again soon. November 2024.
