Southern Stars Holiday Park owners Todd and Natalie have lived on the property since 2005 and set out to create a family holiday park that was a little different to the norm. As seasoned campers, they know what makes for a great camping trip and the little details campers look for, and have utilised this first-hand knowledge, experience and passion to deliver an exceptional holiday park. With clean, spacious amenities and a beautiful, quiet country setting, Todd and Natalie really have built something special.
Our extra large sites offer plenty of room for your family holiday needs, and the hugely popular fenced dog-friendly campsites are a welcome relief for your pup after sitting so patiently in the car! Your pup will love being able to roam around your campsite off-lead as you enjoy your home-away-from-home. We love dogs and welcome your pooch in non-fenced campsites, however we ask he stays on a lead.
The kids will burn plenty of energy at the large nature play area, featuring a cable swing, flying fox and cargo net. We have also built a mountain bike track at the back of the holiday park with jumps and turns to keep the kids happy and active for hours.
For a little friendly competition, pop down to the well-appointed camp kitchen for a game of table tennis, air hockey, giant Jenga and giant draughts.
Whether you are camping with a simple pop-up or touring in your big rig, we have a range of sites to suit. Our powered camping sites are spacious enough for a camper trailer or van, plus a tent for sleeping out under the stars. We also offer large unpowered sites for trailers, tents or vans. All sites have access to water and use of the holiday park’s amenities.
Southern Stars Holiday Park Dunsborough provides private self-contained bathroom suites for campers. Each suite is family-friendly and spacious, making them perfect for parents with young children who need a little help. Once the door is closed, you have the privacy and comfort of your own bathroom in a well-maintained, clean 3m x 3m space. We have also added hanging hooks and a seat to keep your towel, clothes and toiletries clean and dry!
This is a fabulous caravan park! Staff are super friendly and prompt to address any query. The grounds are immaculate. The dog bays are great for those bringing their four legged friends (and there is a large, fenced exercise area). Camp kitchen is large and always clean. The projector set up is excellent for either presentations or watching sporting events. Children are well catered for with play equipment (flying fox, climbing frames, table tennis etc) and even a bike track. The park is well located to many of the local tourist attractions. This was our second visit and both have been very pleasant experiences. April 2024
This place is super amazing. It is the best holiday park I have visited period. The team of staff were amazing! The amenities are all top notch. Clean and easy to use, even dog friendly for your furbabies. Kids bike trail to race around. 10 minute drive to Coles/Woolworths for all your daily needs. Would 100% recommend. October 2024
The park is great lovely green lawns and big sites, especially the dog friendly sites where your furry friends can be outside the van with you without having to be tied up, as they are contained in your own area. The Park also has a dog exercise area that is fenced off from the camp sites. There is a huge camp kitchen and games area, which was well used on the day of the Football Derby. The amenities were lovely and clean inside and out and were cleaned a few times a day when we were there. One great feature of the park is the staff help to park your Caravan onsite, this took a lot of stress away from us knowing that an experienced person was helping the driver reverse in quickly and easily. Would definitely recommend this Caravan Park for families as there is a great playground for the children well away from the road and a bike area for them to ride their bikes without annoying fellow campers. All the staff at the park were very friendly and helpful throughout our stay, we will definitely be back again soon. April 2024
