The camp kitchen and recreation area is a generous 319sqm.
It has an abundance of seating, washing up facilities, BBQs and indoor games such as table tennis, air hockey, giant Jenga, giant Draughts.
It is a great area to meet up with fellow campers for ‘happy hour’ or to get together for a big breakfast cook up around the BBQs.
The ablution facilities are all self contained bathroom suites. They are spacious, well maintained, clean and family friendly. Close the bathroom door behind you and you have the privacy and feel of your own bathroom. Great for parents taking the kids in for showers.
No need to squeeze into a tiny cubicle trying to keep everything high and dry. You have plenty of space (approx. 3m x 3m), hanging hooks and a seat for added comfort. Everyone will love the bathrooms!
Our playground is designed around a rural, natural construction. It will keep the kids busy for hours. From pushing a friend on the cable swing, to chasing their sibling over the cargo net. They will definitely be exhausted by the end of the day and will be wanting to get back out there as soon as the sun comes up!
Our bike track is located in a small forest of trees at the back of the park. It has proven to be extremely popular among all ages. It has jumps and turns that the kids will enjoy for hours on end.
An amazing campsite. One of the best we have ever stayed at. Beautifully maintained with great facilities and so much green manicured grass. Extremely welcoming and very helpful. We will certainly be back. May 2024
Such a great find!! Everything about Southern Stars was 5 star; the staff (including the 4 legged kind), the facilities, the cleanliness, the grass was just the best, and the pizza van & burger van were the icing on the cake! Fantastic place to camp. We love this camp because our dogs can freely walk around the enclosure. They love camping as much as we do. We love how well the camp grounds are cared for. The bathrooms are clean, nice and big. The camp grounds are always clean and tidy. The lawns are beautiful and green and alround it is just a beautiful place. We love staying here. December 2024.
