The camp kitchen and recreation area is a generous 319sqm.
It has an abundance of seating, washing up facilities, BBQs and indoor games such as table tennis, air hockey, giant Jenga, giant Draughts.
It is a great area to meet up with fellow campers for ‘happy hour’ or to get together for a big breakfast cook up around the BBQs.
The ablution facilities are all self contained bathroom suites. They are spacious, well maintained, clean and family friendly. Close the bathroom door behind you and you have the privacy and feel of your own bathroom. Great for parents taking the kids in for showers.
No need to squeeze into a tiny cubicle trying to keep everything high and dry. You have plenty of space (approx. 3m x 3m), hanging hooks and a seat for added comfort. Everyone will love the bathrooms!
Our playground is designed around a rural, natural construction. It will keep the kids busy for hours. From pushing a friend on the cable swing, to chasing their sibling over the cargo net. They will definitely be exhausted by the end of the day and will be wanting to get back out there as soon as the sun comes up!
Our bike track is located in a small forest of trees at the back of the park. It has proven to be extremely popular among all ages. It has jumps and turns that the kids will enjoy for hours on end.
Stayed in the large rig sites. Biggest site we have ever stayed on. Grounds are grassed and in immaculate condition. Ablutions have toilet and shower together in blocks of 4 rooms spread around site. On the doorstep of tourist locations in Busselton and surrounds. Would definitely visit again as this was a standout site for us over a number of years travelling. May 2025
What a beautifully maintained park! The gated dog friendly sites, are such a great idea. My kids loved the playground and undercover play area. So much for them to do. Our pooch had a designated dog friendly area to run around. The staff are super friendly, and we loved seeing the resident dog, Doug, cruise leisurely around the park. Such an awesome feel about the place. We highly recommend Southern Stars Holiday Park! March 2025.
We booked our July school holidays camping trip at last minute where we missed out on the more well known camping spots but fortunately so.
Reading about Southern Stars it looked nice and green with good spots and good things for the kids to do so we booked our camping trip.
Upon arrival we saw the spans of greenery, nice views but there was something else - it wasn’t just clean it was well organised and evidence of consideration for their guests. When we stopped at the front gate we were welcomed and escorted to and helped guided into our spot making arrival a breeze. We will definitely be back. July 2024
