The camp kitchen and recreation area is a generous 319sqm.
It has an abundance of seating, washing up facilities, BBQs and indoor games such as table tennis, air hockey, giant Jenga, giant Draughts.
It is a great area to meet up with fellow campers for ‘happy hour’ or to get together for a big breakfast cook up around the BBQs.
The ablution facilities are all self contained bathroom suites. They are spacious, well maintained, clean and family friendly. Close the bathroom door behind you and you have the privacy and feel of your own bathroom. Great for parents taking the kids in for showers.
No need to squeeze into a tiny cubicle trying to keep everything high and dry. You have plenty of space (approx. 3m x 3m), hanging hooks and a seat for added comfort. Everyone will love the bathrooms!
Our playground is designed around a rural, natural construction. It will keep the kids busy for hours. From pushing a friend on the cable swing, to chasing their sibling over the cargo net. They will definitely be exhausted by the end of the day and will be wanting to get back out there as soon as the sun comes up!
Our bike track is located in a small forest of trees at the back of the park. It has proven to be extremely popular among all ages. It has jumps and turns that the kids will enjoy for hours on end.
We have been very happy with your site and we are looking forward to our next visit later in the year. Regards Sandra Wheeler. April 2024
From the moment we arrived at reception to be greeted by Natalie, then by Dougie (the dog) and Todd who directed us into our super spacious and shady bay (a real marriage saver there), we had an exceptional stay where the park staff were always available to arrange things or answer any questions we had. The green grass, trees and other plants gives a soft ambience to the park, whilst the permanent games, playground and camp kitchen were brilliant. There are plenty of toilets and the ablution block was always clean and stocked. We were there with a large caravan club which was one of the best musters we have ever had. Many thanks to Natalie and her team. April 2024
It was our first time staying at Southern Stars & we booked a fenced site so we could take our 12-month-old Spoodle. The staff were so friendly and helpful and guided hubby into the fenced area (saved us a few hours of not talking to each other - LOL). Doug also greets you at the front office and if you are lucky, will take you to your campsite. He will also check in on you during your stay & say hello (for those not in the know, he is the resident dog).
Within 20 minutes of arriving, I marched back to the front office......not to complain, but to rebook again for next year and for longer!
Our caravan fitted perfectly, the site was lovely and green, and our set-up was amazing. The park is lush! There is an off-leash area for the dogs, a bike track for the kids (and adults young at heart) and a great nature playground with a flying fox. I love they have bathrooms (which are huge and clean) and there are lots of them so never had to wait. We didn't use the camp kitchen, but it was huge and clean. I want to tell you Southern Stars is terrible to keep it a secret, but I can't lie - IT IS AMAZING and looking forward to our next trip with all our friends we have recommended it to!! March 2025.
